Configuring the Function Key for PBX Functions via the Configuration Manager
Configuring the Function Key for PBX Functions via the Configuration Manager
The function key on a COMfortel DECT 900/900C handset can be assigned to up to ten
programming functions on the PBX.
Configuration can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Internal S
0
port (only provided on the COMpact S
0
module or COMpact ISDN module
available as an option)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Configured internal telephone numbers for the base station
– Assigned internal telephone numbers for the mobile handsets
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Internal numbers > ISDN subscribers.
2. Click DECT settings.
3. Open the page DECT subscribers.
4. In the list field at the top, select the mobile handset in question by its name or number.
5. In the first Function list field under Function key assignment, select one of the
following options:
When selecting a function, the fields Name and Programming function are pre-
assigned accordingly.
6. In the Name entry field, enter a name for the key or, if necessary, change the prede-
fined name. The following entries are possible:
Note: The name is shown on the display after pressing the function key on a
COMfortel DECT 900/900C handset.
7. In the Programming function entry field, enter a programming function on the PBX
or replace the placeholder for the specified programming function. The following
entries are possible:
---: Enables any function to be entered.
[Function]: Assigns the selected function to the key.
