Configuring and Managing the PBX
VoIP
Configuring the Number Presentation (Outgoing)
Requirements:
External VoIP channel (COMpact 3000 VoIP or VoIP channels purchased and activated in
the Upgrade Center)
Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
Configured external telephone numbers
Number presentation suppression: Support of the service attribute number presentation
suppression by the VoIP provider
Number presentation suppression: Number presentation suppression enabled for the
subscriber
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Voice over IP (VoIP) > VoIP provider.
2. Click in the line of the corresponding VoIP provider.
The Provider configuration opens.
3. Open the page Provider configuration > Number presentation (outgoing).
4. Under Format of the dialled telephone number, select one of the following options:
5. Under Type of line identification presentation, select one of the following options:
country code with leading zeroes: The telephone number of the receiver is
transmitted from the PBX along with the entire country prefix (e.g., 0049) to the
VoIP provider.
country code with leading + sign: The telephone number of the receiver is
transmitted from the PBX along with the entire country prefix in the same
format used in mobile phone telephone books (e.g., +49) to the VoIP provider.
country code without leading zeroes: The telephone number of the receiver
is transmitted from the PBX along with a shortened country prefix (without the
international prefix (digit), e.g., 49) to the VoIP provider.
without country code: The telephone number of the receiver is transmitted
from the PBX to the VoIP provider without the country prefix.
without country and local area code: The telephone number of the receiver
is transmitted from the PBX to the VoIP provider without the country prefix and
the local area code.
in the display text: Your own external telephone number that is to be trans-
mitted to the receiver is transmitted to the VoIP provide in the "display text"
area.
in the user name: Your own external telephone number that is to be trans-
mitted to the receiver is transmitted to the VoIP provider in the "user name"
area.
