bus monitoring is enabled, a continuous activation of the shift 1 for the separate external

busses is possible.
The PBX checks whether the shift 1 from the network provider activated is or idle. When a
function is enabled, the activation of this shift is requested as soon as the shift 1 from the
network provider is put into idle mode.
Note: The S
0
bus monitoring prevents, e.g., delay times before the external
dial tone indicates operational readiness.
If this function, e.g., causes too many problems for exchange lines outside of Germany, it can
be disabled.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
Via the configuration manager

port (only COMpact 3000 ISDN or COMpact ISDN module available as an

Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the ISDN connection in question.
A page opens for configuring the ISDN connection.
Point-to-Multipoint connection: ISDN Point-to-Multipoint connection (PTMP)
PBX connection: ISDN Point-to-Point connection (PTP)
