Analog Connection
Configuring Control Commands
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the analog connection.
A page opens for configuring the analog connection.
3. Open the page Analogue connection > Expert configuration.
4. In the Amplification list field under CLIP, select one of the following options:

Configuring Control Commands
The control commands indicate which digit sequences the analog network provider needs to
carry out a service attribute on the analog connection. If a service attribute is requested on an
ISDN subscriber of the PBX (e.g., a system telephone), the PBX automatically converts it into
the digit sequences required by the analog network provider.
The configuration can be made as follows:
Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
External analog port (only COMpact 3000 analog)
Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
Expert view (click )
Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)

-12 dB to -1 dB: While receiving CLIP information, the PBX reduces all audio
signals by -12 to -1 decibels.
0dB: The PBX does not change the audio signals while receiving CLIP infor-
mation.
+1 dB to +12 dB: While receiving CLIP information, the PBX increases all
audio signals by +1 to +12 decibels.
