Analog Connection
Switching Line Polarity Reversal Detection for Start of Call On/Off
4. Select or clear the Busy tone detection check box under Start of call (outgoing
calls).

Switching Line Polarity Reversal Detection for Start of Call On/Off
If line polarity reversal detection is enabled, the PBX network provider detects the polarity
reversal as a signal for routing the voice path.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External analog port (only COMpact 3000 analog)
– Line polarity reversal support at start of call by the network provider
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Expert view (click )
– Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the analog connection.
A page opens for configuring the analog connection.
3. Open the page Analogue connection > Expert configuration.
4. Select or clear the Polarity reversal of the line check box under Start of call
(outgoing calls).

Enables busy tone detection.
Disables busy tone detection.
Enables line polarity reversal detection.
