An external call can be initiated via a specific VoIP account using a targeted VoIP access point.
The Internet service provider's network can only be accessed via a targeted VoIP access point,
e.g., when querying the mailbox.)
Initiating Targeted VoIP Access
Initiation can be carried out as follows:
Using a character string on the internal telephone
On the system telephone COMfortel 1100/1500/2500/2500 AB/VoIP 2500 AB using the
function key (see the telephone manual)
Note: Currently, emergency calls cannot yet be completely guaranteed over
VoIP by all providers. This affects not only the connection to the public safety
answering point but also the systems that provide the geographic location of
the caller during an emergency call.
Requirements:
External VoIP channel (COMpact 3000 VoIP or VoIP channels purchased and activated in
the Upgrade Center)

Note: In any case, the external phone number must be dialled with the
corresponding local area code, even if it is your own local area code. The
special numbers provided by the VoIP provider for checking one's account
status or dialling usually do not include a local area code.

direct exchange line access, omit the **.)
