Executing Pickup
Pickup
Using Pickup, you can take a call on your own phone that was originally sent to another internal
telephone.
If the call has already been taken, the call can be taken using same procedure if the call take-
over has been allowed by the subscriber being called. This function is useful, for example, in
the case of answering machines.
Executing Pickup
Performing this procedure can be carried out as follows:
Using a character string on the internal telephone
On the system telephone COMfortel 1100/1500/2500/2500 AB/VoIP 2500 AB using the
function key (see the telephone manual)
Requirements:
Authorization Pickup assigned to the subscriber
To pick up an external call: Exchange line authorization assigned to the subscriber for
incoming calls (International, National, City or only incoming, with emergency call)
If an internal telephone rings in your proximity, proceed as described in the following.
1. Pick up the receiver of your telephone.
2. Dial ##06.
3. Enter the internal telephone number of the telephone that is ringing. The following
entries are possible:
You are connected with the caller.
** and internal telephone number of the individual telephone (If you do not
use a direct exchange line access, omit the **.)
** and internal telephone number of the line group (If you do not use a
direct exchange line access, omit the **.)
