Music on Hold and Announcement
Listening to and Switching the Announcement for Music on Hold On/Off
Delete the Announcement for Music on Hold (Restore Default Announcement) via an
Internal Telephone
If the recorded music on hold announcement is deleted, the default announcement is automa-
tically enabled.
Requirements:
– Authorization Controlling of the PBX via telephone assigned to the subscriber
– A configured sub-admin PIN
1. Pick up the receiver.
2. Dial ##8.
3. Enter the sub-admin PIN.
4. Dial *5531#.
Listening to and Switching the Announcement for Music on Hold On/Off
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
• Using a character string on the internal telephone
Listening can be carried out as follows:

Switching the Announcement for Music on Hold On/Off via the Configuration Manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Music on hold/announcement > Settings.
2. Select or clear the Mix into music on hold check box under Announcement.
Further steps:
– Save your settings before you leave the page.
Enables the announcement for music on hold.
Disables the announcement for music on hold.
