Music on Hold and Announcement
Recording and Configuring the Announcement for Music on Hold
The path and the file name are displayed in front of Browse.
5. Click Save.
6. Click OK.
Recording an Announcement for Music on Hold via an Internal Telephone
Requirements:
– Authorization Controlling of the PBX via telephone assigned to the subscriber
– A configured sub-admin PIN
1. Pick up the receiver.
2. Dial ##8.
3. Enter the sub-admin PIN.
4. Dial *5631*.
You will hear the confirmation tone.
5. To start recording the announcement, dial *.
6. Say the text you have prepared.
Note: The announcement text to be recorded can be up to 1 minute long.
After this time, recording is automatically stopped, and you will hear the
confirmation tone.
7. To stop recording, dial #.
You will hear a hold tone. Then the announcement just recorded is played back.
Note: To stop recording, you can also hang up the receiver.
Saving the Announcement for Music on Hold on the PC via the Configuration Manager
The music on hold announcement saved in the PBX ("announce.wav2) can be saved on the PC
as a backup copy.
