Configuration Switchover
Carrying out a Configuration Switchover Manually
Performing a Configuration Switchover Manually via an Internal Telephone
Requirements:
– Authorization Controlling of the PBX via telephone assigned to the subscriber
– Authorization Configuration switching assigned to the subscriber
– At least two configured configurations
1. Pick up the receiver.
2. Dial ##8*81.
3. Enter the identification number for the configuration.
4. Dial #.
Note: If the automatic configuration switchover is enabled simultaneously, the
configuration configured here is applicable until the next switching time.
Performing a Configuration Switchover Manually via an External Telephone
Requirements:
– More than one external phone number (only COMpact 3000 ISDN or COMpact ISDN module
available as an option)
– Configured remote switching number and external PIN
– Analog DTMF telephone, ISDN telephone with DTMF signaling or DTMF generator
– At least two configured configurations
1. Pick up the receiver of the external telephone.
2. Enter the remote switching number.
You will hear the external confirmation tone (1 second).
3. Dial ##8.
4. Enter the external PIN.
5. Dial *81.
6. Enter the identification number for the configuration.
7. Dial #.
You will hear the external confirmation tone (1 second).
