Call Waiting
Switching Call Waiting On/Off
Call Waiting
If you are already in a call, the call waiting function notifies you using the call waiting tone when
another communication partner is calling.
Switching Call Waiting On/Off
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
Separately for subscribers
Via the configuration manager
On the system telephone COMfortel 1100/1500/2500/2500 AB/VoIP 2500 AB using the
menu/function key (see the telephone manual)
Requirements:
Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page PROPERTIES > Internal subscribers > Subscriber properties >
User settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber in question by his name or number.
3. Select or clear the Call waiting check box.
Further steps:
Save your settings before you leave the page.
When using an ISDN telephone: If necessary, also enable call waiting on the telephone itself
(see the telephone manual).
Enables call waiting.
Disables call waiting.
