Switching Automatic Cleanup for a Fax Box On/Off
Switching Automatic Cleanup for a Fax Box On/Off
A fax box can store up to 100 faxes. If automatic cleanup for a fax box has been enabled and
the maximum number of stored faxes in the fax box is achieved, the oldest faxes marked as
read are deleted when new faxes are stored.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Separately for fax boxes
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– An SD card inserted in the SD card slot or a USB memory stick inserted in the USB port
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– For faxes sent as e-mail: enabled option Mark sent messages as read
1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Voice mail/fax boxes > Boxes.
2. Click in the line of the corresponding fax box.
3. Select or clear the Perform when memory is full check box under Automatic
cleanup.

– Save your settings before you leave the page.
Querying the Fax Box
All faxes received and sent are saved as PDF files on the storage medium on the PBX. They
are listed in a table with the following columns:
•Status: Indicates whether it is a new or already queried fax. New faxes are indicated by .
Faxes which already have been queried are indicated by . You can change the status of
the faxes by clicking the icon (new -> queried or queried -> new).
Enables automatic cleanup for the fax box.
Disables automatic cleanup for the fax box.
