Fax Box
Switching the Fax Box On/Off
Switching the Fax Box On/Off
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Separately for external telephone numbers
• Separately for configurations
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– An SD card inserted in the SD card slot or a USB memory stick inserted in the USB port
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Call distribution > Create call distribution.
All of the separate external telephone numbers entered and the corresponding group
phone numbers (call distribution groups) are displayed horizontally across the table.
Note: Click to scroll horizontally across the table to display other
telephone numbers. Click to scroll back again.
2. In the Fax function list field, select the fax box you want in column of the
corresponding telephone number.
Note:
When using a COMpact 3000 analog, also configure the fax switch in the
first Fax function list field.
COMpact 3000 ISDN and VoIP: If you would like to designate the fax box for
querying specific subscribers, first select the subscriber ( ) in the column
of the corresponding telephone number. Selecting the fax box disables call
distribution for the subscriber.
