Managing Voice Mailboxes and Fax Boxes
Voice Mailbox
Switching a Voice Mailbox On/Off
on busy: A call is only accepted by the voice mailbox if the subscriber is busy.
on no reply: If the subscriber being called does not accept the call within the configured
delay time for the voice mailboxes, the call is accepted by the voice mailbox.
on no reply + on busy: If the subscriber being called does not accept the call within the
configured delay time for the voice mailboxes or is busy, the call is accepted by the voice
mailbox.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
Separately for external telephone numbers
Separately for configurations
Via the configuration manager
Using a character string on the internal telephone
Using a character string on an external telephone
Switching the Voice Mailbox On/Off via the Configuration Manager
Requirements:
An SD card inserted in the SD card slot or a USB memory stick inserted in the USB port
Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Call distribution > Create call distribution.
Across the table, all of the separate external telephone numbers entered and the
corresponding group phone numbers (call distribution groups) are displayed.
Note: Click to scroll horizontally across the table and display other
telephone numbers. Click to scroll back again.
2. Select one of the following options in the Voice mail function list field in the column
of the corresponding telephone number:
off: Disables the voice mailbox.
immediately: Disables the voice mailbox immediately.
on busy: Enables the voice mailbox on busy.
on no reply: Enables the voice mailbox on no reply.
on no reply + on busy: Enables the voice mailbox on no reply and on busy.
