Memory Management for the Voice Mail and Fax
Function
Announcements, language files as well as incoming faxes and voice messages are saved on a
storage medium inserted in the PBX (USB memory stick or SD card).
A directory structure is automatically created on the storage medium; you should not change
this structure. The root directory is \auerswald. On top of that, the path \auerswald\mailbox
is created; it contains the following directories:
\language: Contains the language files.
\announcements: Contains the announcements for the voice mailboxes.
\mb000000 to \mb000012: Contains the voice messages and faxes in the voice mail and
fax boxes.
Caution: Removing the storage medium from the PBX during operation
may lead to data loss. To remove the storage medium safely, you have the
following possibilities:
Prepare to remove the storage medium properly (Eject under SERVICE
> Memory > Storage medium).
Switch off the PBX before removing the storage medium.
Note: The inserted storage medium must have at least more than 50 MB of
free memory (controlled under SERVICE > Memory > Storage medium).
