Connection of analog Devices
The PBX COMpact 2206 USB has analog subscriber ports for 6 analog
devices. You can connect up to 10 analog devices to the
COMpact 4410 USB.
Thanks to this you can connect analog telephones, fax machines etc.
with pulse or DTMF dialling. Devices with DTMF dialling have to have a
FLASH-key (alternatively named signal key R).
Up to three telephones can directly be connected to the existing TAE
sockets (Pic. 25). For some of the international varieties of the PBX
there are Western modular jacks with the layout shown Pic. 24 for the
direct connection of analog telephones.
These three telephones have the internal telephone numbers 30, 31
and 32 (from left to right) in the default settings. These telephone num-
bers can be changed with the configuration program
COMset
at
any time.
The connection of additional devices to the PBX will be made with addi-
tional wall jacks (chapter
Install Wall Jacks for analog Devices on
page 26).
