1-6. CAREER MANAGEMENT INFORMATION
a. All soldiers in MOS 25R should be acquainted with the Enlisted Personnel Management System
(EPMS), career management field (CMF) structure, skill and training progression for the visual information
equipment operator-maintainer and for training problems unique to MOS 25R.
b. The EPMS is a management system to improve the professionalism of the enlisted ranks.
Successful soldiers perform assigned duties efficiently, take advantage of opportunities for training and
promotion, and establish career goals. EPMS provides a logical career development path by establishing
a system of career-long training that prepares soldiers to take on duties of the next higher grade. A
training program was designed for the skill levels of each MOS. This publication is an outline of that
training program for MOS 25R. The skill and training progression chart for MOS 25R (Figure 1-1) shows
the entry level soldier the path to follow to SL5. There are no decision points for the 25R soldier.
