POST CHANGES TO SCHEMATIC DIAGRAMS

Conditions: In a tactical or garrison environment, given an equipment modification or change notice, red
pencil, correction tape, and manufacturers' manuals with schematic diagrams.
Standards: The standards are met when the changes are posted on the schematic diagram following the
manufacturers modification or change notice.
Performance Measures Results
1. Read the modification or change notice. P F
2. Locate the data (lines, components, numbers, and text) for modification on the
schematic diagram.

3. Make indicated change(s) according to the notice instructions. P F
a. Add new data using a red-colored pencil. P F
b. Delete data using correction tape. P F
NOTE: If correction tape is not available, use white paper, scissors, and transparent tape.
4. Initial, date, and annotate change(s) on schematic diagram margin. P F
5. Post (insert) the notice in the front of the manual. P F
Evaluation Guidance: Score the soldier a GO if all steps are passed (P). Score the soldier a NO-GO if
any step is failed (F). If the soldier fails any step, show what was done wrong and how to do it correctly.
Have the soldier practice until he can correctly perform the task.
