1. Connect the cable marked “TO XM RADIO” on the FM Direct adapter into the Antennae in jack on the XM vehicle dock or on the side of the receiver. 2. Conn act the cable marked “TO FM ANT” on the FM Direct adapter to the vehicle FM antenna cable. {Optional antenna adapter may be required, Refer to NOTE.) 3.Connect the vehicle FM antenna cable lead fo the cable marked “TO EM RADIO” on the FM Direct adapter. {Optional antenna adapter may be required, Refer to NOTE.) 4.
XMFM1 Operation Turning on the Audiovisual FM Direct Adapter With the ignition on, the Fi Direct Adapter is always on in a standby condition. When you turn on your XM radio receiver, the adapter will automatically switch the vehicle FM signal input from your FM antenna to the XM Audio signal. Changing the Transmitting Frequency The FM Direct Adapter allows you to input the signal from your XM Radio receiver directly into your vehicle's radio.
