When the surround speakers are large
Select "LRG" darge).

Select"SML"(small).
When you do not use the surround speakers
Select "NONE '_ (none). This unit is set to the Virtual
CINEMA DSP mode (see page 39).

Use this f_:atureto select the speakers that output the LFE
(low-frequency effect) and the low-t_equency signals.
Choices: SWFR_ FRNT, BOTH

When a subwoofer is connected to this unit
and you want to get natural bass sound
Select "SWFR" (subwoot_r). The LFE signals as well
as the low-frequency signals of other speakers set to
"SML" (or "SMALL") are directed to the subwooti_r.
When a subwoofer is connected to this unit
and you want to get rich bass sound
Select "BOTH" (hoth). The low-thequency signals of
any source are output fi:om the subwoofer. Tile LFE
sigmds as well as the low-frequency signals of other
speakers set to "SML" (or "SMALL") are directed to
the subwoofer. Tile low-theqnency signals of the front
left and right channels arc directed to the front left and
righl speakers and the subwoofer regardless of the
"FRONT SP" setting (see page 63).
When you do not use a subwoofer
Select "FRNT" (front). The LFE signals, the low-
tkequency signals of the li'ont let? and right channels,
and the low-thequency signals of other speakers set to
"SML" (or "SMALL") are all directed to the thont left
and right speakers regardless of the "FRONT SP"
setting (see page 63).
Crossover CROSSOUEi;!
Use this t)ature to select tile crossoxer l?equency of all tile
speakers set to "SML" (or "SMALL") in "SPEAKER
SET" (see page 63). All frequencies below the selected
frequency will be sent to the subwoot)r or fi'ont speakers
depending on the setting of "LFE/BASS OUT" in
"SPEAKER SET" (see page 63).
Choices: 40Hz, 60Hz, 80Hz, 90Hz. 100Hz, 110Hz,
120Hz, 160Hz. 200Hz
