• TONE CONTROL (see page 41 ) and VOLUME settings, speaker levels (see page 41 ) and the sound field programs {see page 38) do

• The source connected to the MULTI CH INPUT iacks of this uni_ cannot be re_orded

• The XM Satellile Radio signals cannot be Ot_tpu_ at the AUI)IO OUT (REC)¸jacks¸

• The SIRIUS Satellite Radio signals cannot be output at the AUDIO OUT (REC) jacks.

• I)igital signals input at the DIGITAL INPUT iacks are not output at die analog AUDIO OUT {REC)¸jacks l_r _cording ThereR_re, if

your source component is connecled to pJ_vide only digilal signals, you cannot record tile source¸

• A given input source is nol oulput on _he same OUT (REC) channel

• The analog audio slgnals inpm al the DOCK terminal can be output at the analog AUDIO OUT (REC)jacks l_r recording¸

• Once you have connecled a recording componenl to this unh. keep _he component turned on while using tl/is uniL If the componem is

If you play back a vide() source that uses scrambled or encoded signals to prevent it fiom being dubbed, the picture

itself nlay he disturbed due to those signals.

Turn on all the connected components.

Press @INPUT <3/ D repeatedly (or press

one of the input selector buttons (@)) to

select the source component you want to

record from.

3 Start playback on the selected source

component or select a broadcast station,

4 Start recording on the recording component.
