INTRODUCTION
Your new EG-225 Digital Linear Gauge has passed a strict qual-
ity control program.
To ensure that you get the most out of your new instrument, we
strongly recommend that you read and follow this instruction
manual.
The EG-225 Digital Linear Gauge consists of the following parts.
• Main Unit
• Finger Lifter
• PB-701 Power Supply
• Instruction Manual
Before using the linear gauge, check that all the required parts
have arrived and, should there be a shortage, contact your sales
representative.
CAUTION
The rubber o-ring mounted on the spindle serves as a
stopper for the spindle. Do not attempt use of the gage
with this o-ring removed, as this can cause failures. When
the spindle’s top point screw is removed (e. g. to mount
the lift lever), always insert the o-ring before reassembling.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for failures caused
by use with the o-ring removed.
