Buying and using a thin tube and dome
The RPSA05 comes with a wide tube and dome installed.
Other sizes of compatible tubes and domes are sold
separately, available in the Accessories brochure or
through RCASymphonix.com
IMPORTANT: The thin tube and small/medium/large
domes are sold separately—you must order BOTH a thin
tube for the ear you want to use it on AND a dome that
looks like the right size for your ear.
These instructions do not apply to the tube and
dome that came with the RPSA05. They are for thin
tubes and domes, sold separately.
To install a thin tube and dome:
1. Find the part of the old tube that it attached to the
earpiece. Gently rotate this section of the tube so that
the sound inlet is exposed.

Using the thin tube
The thin tube has a stabilization tail
that helps keep the earpiece, tube,
and dome in place in your ear. When
you put the earpiece on, this tail
folds into the bowl of your ear as
shown here.
3. Attach a new dome to the end
of one of the new tubes by
pushing the opening on the
back of the dome gently onto
the end of the tube. Push the
dome onto the end of the tube
as far as it will go. Make sure the
dome is securely fastened.
4. Find the part of the tube that
connects to the earpiece
(shown here).
2. Pull the tube straight off the earpiece.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT pull the tube off at an angle. Doing so could
harm the tube connector or the components in your earpiece and
void your warranty.
5. Place the hole on the bottom of tube connector
over the post on the top of the earpiece (shown
here). Turn the tube sideways on the top of the
earpiece and push straight down to attach the tube
to the earpiece.
6. Rotate the tube into the correct position for use
with the earpiece.
