AUDIO~?"OXGD DIP switch overview The configuration switches located on the CarStream module are used to set various operation modes of the interface. Incorrect DIP switch settings may cause the interface not to operate properly or at all.
AUDIO.,""OX. DIP switch settings The following DIP switch settings are used to configure the CarStream module to interface with the various radio systems. Before installation, set the DIP switch to the position shown for the corresponding radios and desired features. Car configuration switches CD changer (CDC) I IOFF I IOFF Use this setting when the SAT emulation is not available due to the limitation of the radio.
Attention installer! Please read the following! Audiovox strongly recommends that the unit be installed in an easily accessible location! DO NOT PLACE IT BEHIND THE RADIO AND DO NOT HIDE UNDER CARPET! Whether the unit is professionally or self installed, put the module where you, the end user can get to it easily in the future. (Have the installer show you where the interface module is installed.

SiriusXM operation in SAT emulation mode: Much like the radio's AM/FM tuner or CD player, CarStream is integrated to be part of the factory audio system. When a compatible satellite radio vehicle tuner is connected to CarStream, it operates in a seamles way. \J 2: CD To tune channels, use the SEEK button. To save presets, simply press & hold the preset buttons. The TEXT knob toggels the screen between the available messages.

Note: The following procedures are generic. Procedures for pairing mobile phones may vary.
Operation Activating Voice Assistant (Siri I Google Voice I Voice Dial) To activate the Voice Assistant feature of the mobile phone (if available), press and hold the multi-function button for 2-3 seconds and then release it. Compatible Apple iPhone 45 or later model will trigger a Siri session. Google Voice may be available on select Android phones. Feature must be enabled on phone. Managing Phone Calls To make a call: • Place calls as you normally do on your phone.
Managing Multiple Calls/Caii -Waiting To answer a second incoming call: • Tap the multi-function button to answer the second call and end the first. • Double-tap the multi-function button to answer the second call and put the first call on hold. • Tap the multi-function button three times to reject the call. To switch between two calls: • Double-tap the multi-function button. To end the call on hold: • Tap the multi-function button three times.
Music Controls To play music: • Tap the multi-function button. Your phone will play whatever music was last playing. You may need to start the music application on the mobile device the first time. • To change the music selection, use the controls on the phone. Note: Some phones may require you to tap the button to put the phone into music mode. To pause/ resume the music: • Tap the multi-function button. The music will pause.
Online Audio Streaming Services If you use audio-streaming services or apps such as Pandora® or iHeart Radio®, you may be able to use the BCS 1M to enjoy streaming audio through your car stereo. However, not all phones or audiostreaming services support this feature. If the sound comes out of your phone instead of the car speakers: 1. Check to make sure the phone is connected to the BCS 1M. 2.
Auxiliary audio source (only with optional AUX connector) The AUX cable (A-ACC-106-AUX) can be used to connect an auxiliary device, such as an MP3 player, DVD player or other audio source. 1/8" mini stereo jack SIRIUS receptacle mini DIN connector The auxiliary audio source can be accessed in both CDC and SAT emulation modes.

Troubleshooting You can quickly solve most problems with your BCS1 M by following the advice in this section. Problem Solution The audio is not coming out of the stereo speakers. • Make sure both the car stereo and BCS1 Mare powered on. Trouble with pairing • Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on and set to search • Make sure the stereo volume is set to a confortable listening level. • Make sure that your Bluetooth-enabled device is connected via Bluetooth to the BCS1 M. mode.
Solution Problem Sirius tuner can't be selected. Ensure the cable connecting SIRIUS tuner is securely connected to the correct receptacle. -- Verify using the Audiovox OEI firmware apdater application that the interface module is properly set to work with the Satellite radio tuner type. Cannot select the interface. Cannot connect the SXV200/300 vehicle tuner to the module Verify the cable connections. Double check the DIP switch settings.
