OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS INTRODUCTION The SPS/Audiovox Six (6) Disc CD Changer system installed in your vehicle has been designed to operate using the controls of the factory radio. In general, the operation of the CD Changer will be as per the instructions for the audio equipment included with your vehicle Owner’s Manual. However, there are a few differences as described herein, so please refer to this booklet for questions you may have on the system operation.
SHUFFLE PLAY To access Shuffle Play mode, press the MENU button once. Default mode is "Shuffle Off". To turn Shuffle "On" or "Off", press either of the SEEK buttons. When the Shuffle feature is being used the indication “SHF” will momentarily appear on the display panel and the tracks on the disc will be played in a random, shuffled order. The Track Select ( SEEK ) function will also select tracks in shuffled order instead of the normal progression.
ERROR CODES If a problem should develop while operating the CD Changer, the following error codes may appear on the display panel of the radio: NO DISC: Indicates that there is no magazine in the changer or no discs in the magazine. Load discs into the magazine and insert the magazine into the changer as per the instructions in the Owner’s Manual of the changer. NO CD: Indicates that the CD Changer is not connected to or is not being recognized by the radio.
