Switching the answering machine on/off

Setting the language
The voice output of the answering machine is provided in Eng-
lish, German and French.
3 sec.  Activate programming mode
4 times  Open the menu
y or z,  Select the language and confirm it
1 = English, 2 = German, 3 = French
Setting the date and time
The weekday and time of receipt is announced when each mess-
age is played back.
3 sec.  Activate programming mode
y or z, | Set the year and confirm it
y or z, | Set the day and confirm it
y or z, | Set the month and confirm it
y or z, | Set the hour and confirm it
y or z,  Set the minute and confirm it
s Close the menu
Maximum recording time
The answering machine can store up to 55 messages. The maxi-
mum recording time is 10 minutes. The maximum length of each
message is 3 minutes. When the memory capacity for new mess-
ages is exhausted, no further messages are recorded.
Setting the volume
You can adjust the volume of the answering machine using the
control on the right−hand side of the telephone.
