Confirmation signal (Roger beep)
The confirmation signal is issued on releasing the P button.
This signals to the caller that you have ended transmission.
Selecting a channel
 Activate programming mode

Transmitting a ringing tone
The ringing tones indicate to other subscribers that you want to
talk to them. A condition for this is that the other subscribers are
using the same channel.
 Transmit the ringing tone
Service−Hotline Germany: Tel. [phone], cost via German landline at time of
going to print: 14 ct/min., different costs possible via mobile telephone systems
