8.3 Ring tone volume on the base station
The volume of the ring tone on the base station can be adjusted in five steps. If at any time
you do not want to be disturbed, you can also turn the ring tone off altogether.
1. Press the Menu display button.
2. Select Set Base with and and confirm with OK.
3. Select Ring Volume with and and confirm with OK.
4. Select the required volume with and and confirm with OK.
5. Now select further menu functions or exit the menu by pressing the button.
8.4 Setting the ring tones on the base station (ring melodies)
The base station can also respond with three different ring tones when a call comes
through.
1. Press the Menu display button.
2. Select Set Base with and and confirm with OK.
3. Select Ring Melody with and and confirm with OK.
4. Select the required melody with and and confirm with OK.
5. Now select further menu functions or exit the menu by pressing the button.
8.5 Accepting calls automatically
Incoming calls are accepted automatically when you lift the mobile unit from the base
station. If you only want calls to be accepted by means of the
button, you can
deactivate the automatic acceptance facility.
1. Press the Menu display button.
2. Confirm Set Handset with the OK display button.
3. Select Auto Talk with and and confirm with OK.
4. Select On or Off with and and confirm with OK.
5. Now select further menu functions or exit the menu by pressing the button.
