13.5 Prefix
The prefix" function enables a number to be dialled automatically before the actual
phone number. This is mainly implemented when using call−by−call numbers. Various
area access codes can be assigned to a call−by−call number or you can dial the same
call−by−call number before every call. In the case of calls dialled from the phone book
in which the area access code stored is the same, the stored call−by−call number is,
naturally, also prefixed.
Up to three different call−by−call numbers, each with 5 digits, can be stored. The
automatically prefixed call−by−call numbers do not appear in the display preceding the
dialled number.
Note: If the Call button is pressed first and then a phone number dialled, no
stored call−by−call number is prefixed.

13.6 Outside line
In the case of private branch exchanges, it is necessary to dial a specific number (e.g.
9" or 0") in order to obtain the dialling tone for an outside line. The number for the
outside line can be predialled automatically.
