11 Setting Ringing and Signal Tones
11.1 Setting the ringing tones on the handset and base station
Different ringing melodies and volume settings can be set on the handset and base
station. The handset can ring with one of 20 polyphone ringing melodies and the base
station with 10. Internal and external calls can be assigned different ringing melodies.
11.1.1 Ringing melodies for internal and external calls

Note: Different ringing melodies for internal and external calls cannot be set on
the base station.
11.1.2 Setting the ringing volume on the handset and base station
The volume can be adjusted to one of 5 different levels or switched off. represents
the lowest volume level and the highest. If is set, the volume
increases with each ring.

11.2 Switching the key tone on/off
An acoustic signal is issued each time a button on the handset is pressed.
