7 Phone Book
There are two phone books available for use. The
phone book can be
used to store 100 phone numbers together with the associated names. The
phone book can be used to store 20 entries. The entries in the
phone book can only be accessed using the handset with which the
entries were actually made. The entries in the
phone book can be
accessed by all the handsets registered.
7.1 Entering phone numbers in the phone book

Note: Refer to the example of entering a name in Section 7.4.

Set the ringing melody
Note: If you select the
setting, the default ringing tone rings when a call is
received. A special ringing melody can only be assigned to phone book
entries in the
phone book.
Confirm the entries
Tip: Phone numbers can be entered in Standby mode and saved directly in the
phone book. Enter a phone number and press the Display
button
.
7.2 Dialling phone numbers stored in the phone book
After some phone numbers have been stored in the
phone book, they
can be dialled quickly and easily.
