Note: The handset is then automatically assigned an
internal call number. The handset already registered
has the internal call number 1. The second handset
registered is assigned the internal call number 2. This
internal call number appears in the display to the right
of the name of the telephone.
11.1.2 Registerin g other DECT-GAP telephones on the base station
In order to register a DECT-GAP handset from another manufacturer, follow the
instructions in the operating manual provided by the original manufacturer and then
press the
K button on the base station for 4 seconds. Use the PIN code to register
(default setting: 0000).
11.1.3 Deregistering handsets
A handset can only be deregistered by another handset still registered. This means it
is not possible to complete the deregistration using the handset which is to be
deregistered.
1. Press the
B button on the handset.
2. Press the
B and E buttons to select the SETTINGS
menu.
3. Confirm by pressing the
F button.
4. Press the
B and E buttons to select the DEL HS
menu.
5. Confirm by pressing the
F button.
6. Press the
B and E buttons to select the number of
the handset to be deregistered.
7. Confirm by pressing the
F button.
8. Enter the base station PIN code using the digit keys
(default setting: 0000).
Note: Press the
C button to cancel the process.
9. Confirm by pressing the
F button.
10. An acoustic signal is issued after a few seconds in the case of successful
deregistration.The message NOT REG appears in the display of the
deregistered handset. The handset is now deregistered and can no longer
be used for internal and external calls .
