10.10 Deleting messages
Note: Messages cannot be restored after they have been deleted.
10.10.1 Deleting one message
1. Press the
P button.
2. Press the
N button the message is being played back.
10.10.2 Deleting all messages and the memo
All the old messages and the memo are deleted from the memory. The new
messages are retained. If the memo has not yet been played back, it is not deleted.
1. Press the
N button for approx. 2 seconds
Note: Follow the vocal instructions.
2. Press the
N button again.
10.11 Remote access
Remote access enables the answering machine to be contacted from any telephone
which uses tone dialling in order to listen to messages received and execute other
functions.
10.11.1 PIN code for remote access
The answering machine is provided with a personal identification number so only you
can listen to incoming messages via the remote access feature. The default PIN code
is set at the factory to “000”.
10.11.2 Modifying the PIN code for remote access
The remote access feature is protected by a PIN code against unauthorised use. The
PIN code is comprised of three digits. When delivered, the PIN code is “000”. Proceed
as follows to change the PIN code:
1. Press the
V button for 2 seconds.
2. Press the
T and W buttons to change the first digit of the PIN code.
3. Press the
V button to confirm the entry.
4. Press the
T and W buttons to change the second digit of the PIN
code.
5. Press the
V button to confirm the entry.
6. Press the
T and W buttons to change the third digit of the PIN code.
7. Press the
V button to confirm the entry.
