9 Special Functions
All the other programming functions can be accessed by means of a user friendly
menu. A general reference list is provided below explaining how to navigate in the
menu:
1. Press the B button to start the programming function.
2. Press the
B and E buttons to access the required menu.
3. Press the
F button to open the menu selected.
4. Press the
B and E buttons to select the required function.
5. Press the
F button to confirm the input.
6. Press the
C button to move one level back.
Note: Every programming process is automatically cancelled if there is no input
within 30 seconds.
7. Press the
C button to exit from the programming function at any time
without any modifications being accepted.
Note: Chapter 9.3 provides a complete overview of the menu structure.
9.1 Setting the ringing tones on the handset and base station
Different ringing melodies and volume settings can be set on the handset and base
station. There are nine different ringing melodies available for received calls on the
handset and base station. The handset has 8 polyphone ringing melodies available.
1. Press the Menu button
B.
2. Press the
B and E buttons to select the RINGER
menu.
3. Confirm by pressing the
F button.
4. Press the
B and E buttons to select whether you
want to change the RINGER setting on the handset or
base station.
5. Confirm by pressing the
F button.
6. Press the
B and Ebuttons to select whether you
want to change the melody or volume level.
7. Confirm by pressing the
F button.
8. Press the
B and E buttons to select the required
melody or volume. Confirm by pressing the
F
button.
Note: If you do not wish to be disturbed, the ringing tone can be deactivated
altogether on the base station or handset.
9. Press the
C button to exit from the menu.
