9 Multiple mobile units
One additional mobile unit can be logged onto your base station.
When you use two mobile units, you will have the following options:
- Internal calls between mobile units.
- External calls can be forwarded between mobile units.
- Incoming external calls are signalled on all mobile units.
Note: If another mobile unit is already using the external line, it will not be possible to make
a further external call.
9.1 Logging on and logging off mobile units
9.1.1 Logging on DECT3300 mobile units
1. Press and hold the page button on the base station for 3 seconds until you
hear two signal tones. Now log on the new mobile unit to the base station within
90 seconds.
2. Press the button on the mobile unit.
3. Select the SETTINGS menu with and and confirm with .
4. Select the REGISTER menu with and and confirm with .
5. Now enter the PIN code for the base station using the number pad (factory setting
0 0 0 0) and confirm with .
6. A search will now be carried out for the base station and after a few seconds you
will hear a signal tone. The mobile unit is now logged on and can be used for
external and internal calls.
7. An internal number will now be automatically assigned to the mobile unit. The
mobile unit that has already been logged on has the internal number 1. The
second mobile unit to be logged on is given the internal number 2. These internal
numbers are shown in the right of the display next to the name.
9.1.2 Logging on other DECT-GAP telephones to the base station
In order to log on a DECT-GAP mobile unit from another manufacturer, follow the
instructions in the other supplier's operating manual and then press the
button on the
base station for 3 seconds. Use the PIN-Code 0 0 0 0 to log on (factory setting).
Note: AUDIOLINE mobile units and also mobile units from other manufacturers can be
integrated into the telephone system by means of the internationally adopted GAP standard.
In the same way, you can use an AUDIOLINE mobile unit on base stations from other
manufacturers, as long as these units work using the GAP standard.
