9.5 Adjusting the receiver volume

Here, you can match the receiver volume to the noise level of the environment in five

steps.

1. Press the button.

2. Select the Handset Menu by pressing and confirm with .

3. Select the Ear volume function with and and confirm with .

4. Select the required volume from 1 to 5 with and and confirm with .

5. Now select further menu functions or exit the menu by pressing and holding the

button.

9.6 Accepting calls automatically

Incoming calls are accepted automatically when you lift the receiver from the base

station. If you only want calls to be accepted by means of the

button, you can

deactivate the automatic acceptance facility.

1. Press the button.

2. Select the Handset Menu by pressing and confirm with .

3. Select the Auto answer function with and and confirm with .

4. Select On or Off with and and confirm with .

5. Now select further menu functions or exit the menu by pressing and holding the

button.

9.7 DTMF or pulse dialling

This feature enables you to use your telephone on analogue exchanges (PULSE

DIALLING) or on the new digital exchanges (DTMF). The factory setting is DTMF dialling.

1. Press the button.

2. Select the Setup menu by pressing and confirm with .

3. Select the Dialling Mode function with and and confirm with .

4. Select the required dialling method with and and confirm with .

5. Now select further menu functions or exit the menu by pressing and holding the

button.
