4.8 Setting the speaker volume
If you find the speaker too loud or too quiet, this can be adjusted to your taste.
During a call, you can use the buttons,
and , to adjust the speaker volume. The
volume setting will be shown in the Display as EAR VOL (1 to 5).
4.9 Redial
The redial function is especially useful if a number is engaged or the person called does
not answer. Your phone stores the last five numbers called.
1. Press the button and the last number called will appear in the display.
2. By pressing the button again, you can display the previous number called. Use
the button to move through the list in the other direction.
3. Now press the call button, , to dial the number shown in the display.
Notice: If a number in the redial list matches a phonebook entry, the entry name will
replace the number in the display.
4.10 Keypad lock
If you want to protect the handset from accidental use, the keypad can be locked. When
the keypad lock is switched on, it will only be possible to receive calls. All buttons with
the exception of the menu button will be disabled.
Activating the keypad lock
1. Press the button. The menu will now be shown in the display.
2. Select Keypad lock in the menu using the button and confirm with the
button.
3. Select On using the button and confirm with the button. When the keypad
lock is on, a small key symbol will appear in the display.
Deactivating the keypad lock
1. To deactivate the keypad lock, press the button twice.
2. Select Off using the button and confirm with the button. The key symbol
will disappear and you will be able to use the handset once more.
