AUDIOLINE CDL 980G PRIVATE EXCHANGES
OUTSIDE LINE CODE
With some private exchanges, it is necessary to dial a certain number (e.g. “9” or
“0”) in order, after a short pause, to obtain a dialling tone for an outside line on the
extension. After being set up for your exchange, your AUDIOLINE CDL980G
automatically inserts a dialling pause when the outside line code is detected. Three
different outside line codes, each having up to two digits, can be entered.
Press the Save button
and the number 3 on the number pad. The display
shows that you can select one of the three groups.
Now select the required group by pressing the numbers 1, 2 or 3. The display
shows the current setting for the selected group.
Now enter the pre-set pause length of 3 or 6 seconds using the numbers 1 or 2.
The display confirms the entry with the message “1P”.
Now enter the new outside line code, maximum two digits.
Confirm the entry with the Save button .
If your telephone is not connected to a private exchange you should not enter an
outside line code.
Deleting the outside line code
Press the Save button and the number 3 on the number pad. The display
shows that you can select one of the three groups.
Now select the required group by pressing the numbers 1, 2 or 3. The display
shows the current setting for the selected group.
Confirm the deletion with the Save button .
