KEYPAD PROTECTION
If you frequently carry the handset with you, you can lock the keypad so that buttons
are not pressed unintentionally. When the keypad lock is switched on, keypad
protection is automatically switched on after 15 seconds. Incoming calls can be
received as normal. Following a call, the keypad lock is switched on again 15
seconds later.



Press the Save button and the number 7 on the number pad. The display
shows the current setting.



Now select whether you would like this function to be switched on or off:
1 = Keypad lock ON (ON)
2 = Keypad lock OFF (OFF)



Press the Save button . While the keypad is protected, the display shows the
message “unlock=49”.
Turning keypad lock off to make a call or for programming
Press 4
and 9 to temporarily remove the keypad lock to make a call.
ACCEPT CALLS AUTOMATICALLY
If you want to automatically accept a call when you lift the handset from the base
station, then proceed as follows:



Press the Save button and the

The display
shows the current setting.



Now select whether you would like this function to be switched on or off:
1 = Automatic call acceptance switched on (ON)
2 = Automatic call acceptance switched off (OFF)



Press the Save button .
