2. COMMISSIONING
2.1 SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING! Before commissioning be sure to read the safety information on Pages 4 and 5 of these
instructions.
2.2 CHECKING THE PACK CONTENTS
The following are included in the scope of supply:
- one base station
- one handset
- one telephone connection cable with TAE plug and Miniwestern plug
- one mains connection cable with power supply and Western plug
- one battery pack
- one set of operating instructions
2.3 CONNECTING THE BASE STATION
Position the AUDIOLINE CDL971G close to your telephone socket and a mains socket.
1. Plug the small power supply plug into the socket at the back of the base station and the plug-in mains
power supply into a properly installed mains socket at 230 V. The base station plug-in mains power
supply must always be connected. For safety reasons, use only the plug–in power supply supplied.
2. Connect the enclosed telephone cable to the telephone socket and the telephone jack on the rear of
the base station.
2.4 FITTING THE BATTERY
In order to fit the battery supplied in the handset, press on the top edge of the battery cover and slide it
downwards. Now connect the battery plug connection to the handset and
close the battery cover.
Place the handset on the base station with the display to the top or to the
bottom for at least 12 hours. The handset signals the start of the charging
process by a short tone.
The battery symbol in the display lights up during the charging process.
