Accessing the answering machine through the base / screening
Through the base station you can turn the answering machine on or off, playback
and delete messages. For the respective function please refer to the chapter “Oper-
ating elements“ in this user guide.
During recording you can listen to the caller’s message. Use the volume keys to set
the speaker volume. The lowest volume level turns call screening off.
Turning the answering machine on/off
Press the menu key.

Select ANSW. SYSTEM and press OK .

Select ANSW. ON/OFF and press OK .

Select ON or OFF and press OK .
In the display the respective icon appears to indicate the answering
machine is on.
Answer mode
Press the menu key.

Select ANSW. SYSTEM and press OK .
/
Select ANSWER MODE and press OK .
/
Select RECORD MSGS for the “answer and record-mode“ or
ANSWER ONLY for the “answer-only mode“ and press OK.
Taking a call from the answering machine
/
If you want to take a call from the answering machine press the Off
Hook button or the handsfree button. You can talk to the caller.
