11 Troubleshooting
Should problems arise with the telephone, refer to the following
information.
In the case of claims under the terms of guarantee, contact your sales
outlet.
Faults Corrective measures
No telephone calls possi-
ble
The telephone line is not connected pro-
perly or is defective. Only use the tele-
phone line cable supplied.
Test whether the telephone connection
is in order by using another telephone.
The power adaptor plug is not plugged
in or there is a complete power failure.
The rechargeable standard batteries are
empty or defective.
The handset is too far from the base sta-
tion.
Connection is disturbed or
cut off
The handset is too far from the base
station.
The base station is in an unsuitable
location.
Dialling not possible Dialling mode set incorrectly (refer to
Chapter 9.4).
The system no longer re-
sponds or is in an undefi-
ned state
Reset the default settings (refer to Chap-
ter 9.6). Before doing so, disconnect the
power adapter plug briefly from the
power socket.
