AS+N Eco-Friendly Features
EcoO S mart
All of the simple but useful features and same signature sound
of the award-winning AS+ wrapped in rock solid and beautifully
hand finished bamboo.
Bamboo is
an excellent alternative to hardwoods and the darker
bamboo used for the Audioengine AS+N cabinets is not a stain,
but achieved through a specialized heating process. As the wood
is pressure heated, the sugar compounds insi de the bamboo are
"carbonized" which in
turn darkens the bamboo to a rich caramel
color.

The Aud ioe ng ine S+ N cabinets are hand built from renewable and sustainable solid
bamboo and finished with water-based satin polyurethane.
