Chapter 8: The Display: SPL Meter
Sound Pressure Level Meter
The SPL display allows you to the measure the Sound Pressure Level of your system using a reference microphone. You can investigate the
overall SPL in your system, and in dierent parts of the room for example, alowing you to adjust the system for audience pleasure and audience
hearing safety.
The display shows the SPL level in dB, and you are able to select our various calibration microphones, adjust the measurement speed, and to
hold the current reading.
