3.4.1.6 Configuring the QoS Settings
The 'QoS Settings' page is used for configuring the Quality of Service (QoS) parameters.
This page allows you to assign VLAN priorities (IEEE 802.1p) and Differentiated Services
(DiffServ) for the supported Class of Service (CoS).
¾ To configure QoS, take these 4 steps:
1. Open the 'QoS Settings' page (Configuration tab > Network Settings menu > QoS
Settings page item).

2. Configure the QoS parameters according to the table below.
3. Click the Submit button to save your changes.
4. To save the changes to flash memory, refer to ''Saving Configuration'' on page 265.

Priority Settings
Network Priority

Defines the priority for Network Class of Service (CoS) content.
The valid range is 0 to 7. The default value is 7.
Media Premium Priority

Defines the priority for the Premium CoS content and media traffic.
The valid range is 0 to 7. The default value is 6.
Control Premium Priority

Defines the priority for the Premium CoS content and control traffic.
The valid range is 0 to 7. The default value is 6.
Gold Priority

Defines the priority for the Gold CoS content.
The valid range is 0 to 7. The default value is 4.
