Trap Enable
[SNMPManagerTrapSendi
ngEnable_x]
Activates or de-activates the sending of traps to the corresponding
SNMP Manager.
[0] Disable = Sending is disabled.
[1] Enable = Sending is enabled (default).
3.5.1.1.2 Configuring the SNMP Community Strings
The 'SNMP Community String' page allows you to configure up to five read-only and up to
five read-write SNMP community strings, and to configure the community string that is
used for sending traps. For detailed information on SNMP community strings, refer to the
Product Reference Manual.
¾ To configure the SNMP community strings, take these 5 steps:
1. Access the 'Management Settings' page, as described in ''Configuring the
Management Settings'' on page 254.
2. In the 'SNMP Community String' field, click the right-pointing arrow
button; the
'SNMP Community String' page appears.

3. Configure the SNMP community strings parameters according to the table below.
4. Click the Submit button to save your changes.
5. To save the changes to flash memory, refer to ''Saving Configuration'' on page 265.
Note: To delete a community string, select the Delete check box corresponding to
the community string that you want to delete, and then click Submit.
