User's Manual 4. Customizing Your Phone

 To assign a phone number to a key:
1. Access the Speed Dial screen (MENU key > Speed Dial menu).
2. Navigate to an Empty speed dial key (unassigned) and press the Select softkey; the
selected speed dial key, #6 in the example below, is displayed:
Notes:
 Speed Dial #1 = topmost speed dial key on your phone
Speed Dial #9 = lowermost speed dial key on your phone
3. Assign a phone number to the key:
 Define the phone number:
a. In the ‘Type Number’ field, enter the phone number that you want to assign to the
speed dial key:
b. Press the Save softkey to save your settings.
 -OR- assign a contact from the phone directory:
a. Navigate to ‘Select from directory’ and press the Select softkey; the phone
directory is displayed listing all contacts:
b. Navigate to the contact to assign to the key and press the Select softkey to select
the number.
c. Press the Save softkey to save your settings.
