6.7 General Corrective Actions
6.7.1 Restoring Phone Defaults
The phone's default settings can be restored from the phone's LCD or from the Web
interface.
6.7.1.1 Restoring Factory Defaults from the Phone LCD
This section shows how to restore factory defaults from the phone's LCD.
 To restore the phone's default settings from the LCD:
1. Access the Restore Defaults menu option (MENU key > Administration > Restore
Defaults):
2. Press the Select softkey:
3. Press the Yes softkey to confirm or No to cancel.
Note: With the 420HD IP Phone you can also restore the phone to default settings by
using a hard-coded sequence of keys on the phone's keypad:
1. Unplug the power cable from the phone.
2. Simultaneously press the OK and the MENU key.
3. Plug the power cable into the phone and keep the keys pressed for five
seconds.
