39.2.8 MAC Address and Serial Number Verification Test
The MAC Address and Serial Number Verification test allows you to verify that the phone’s
MAC address and serial number are correct.
 To verify the MAC Address and Serial Number:
1. After about five seconds after your recorded voice is played in the Speaker test (in the
previous section), the LCD screen displays a MAC address and serial number:

2. Check that the LAN MAC address and serial number are correct.
3. Press any key to exit the phone’s built-in test.
39.3 Testing 420HD IP Phone BIT
The BIT for the 420HD IP Phone is identical to that of the 320HD IP Phone (see Section
39.2 on page 242).
