20.2 Configuring Silence Compression
Silence Compression can be configured using the Web or Configuration File, as described
below.
 To define the Silence Compression parameters:
 Using the Web:
1. Access the ‘Voice’ page (Configuration tab > Voice Over IP menu > Voice).

2. Configure Silence Compression parameters according to the table below, and
then click Submit.
 Using the Configuration File:

bandwidth consumption.
